June's Healthy Tip

Now that warmer weather is here proper hydration is more important than ever!  The amount of water required varies by person.  Factors that can affect this include climate, physical activity, diet and body weight.  To calculate the minimum amount of water you require daily, take you body weight and divide it in half.  The result will be the number of ounces of water you should drink daily.  Remember you will need to increase this amount if you are physically active or spending time outside in the heat.
